An international publisher and prime mover in forensics, psychotherapy, homeland security, and integrative medicine, Robert O’Block laid the foundations for open, comprehensive, and educational associations for professionals in forensics, integrative medicine, criminology, investigation, psychology, and spiritual psychotherapy. Robert O’Block, a pioneering academic, founded the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, the American Association of Integrative Medicine, the American College of Forensic Examiners International, the American Psychotherapy Association, and The Society for The Cure of Souls. In 2004, Robert O’Block also founded the company Management Executives, Inc., and became its Chief Executive Officer, a position he continues to hold today.

Robert O’Block holds postgraduate degrees in sociology, education, philosophy, psychology, and theology.
Integrative medicine is healthcare that views the patient as the most important member of the medical team and applies all safe and effective therapies without subservience to any one school of medical thought.
Robert O’Block – Mission Statement for AAIM
The mission of the American Association of Integrative Medicine is to promote the development of integrative medicine, which is the medicine of the 21st century. The American Association of Integrative Medicine is focused on the implementation and maintenance of successful credentialing programs and research that educate practitioners in the integration of safe and effective medical treatment modalities into healthcare. In contrast to traditional methods of disease management, The American Association of Integrative Medicine is focused on establishing integrative treatment protocols—including allopathic medicine where appropriate—that result in improved clinical outcomes.
The American Association of Integrative Medicine promotes higher standards of professional competence by evaluating the candidacy of applicants, establishing guidelines, and confirming the professional identity of its members. The American Association of Integrative Medicine believes ‘healthy’ means more than just the absence of disease, and we strive to provide a gathering place for healers, educators, and researchers who share this belief.
The American Association of Integrative Medicine is:
- An association dedicated to scientifically validating and preserving global indigenous therapies that have stood the test of time.
- An organization committed to supporting the development and validation of new, innovative therapeutic approaches that show promise toward safe, cost-effective, and non-invasive management of chronic mind/body conditions.
- An institution dedicated to education and research relating to the impact of changing nutritional, ecological, and stress-related aspects of modern life on human health.
